 The All Feathered Clubs Advisory Council of Queensland was founded in 1959 as an advisory body that dealt with all matters involving the breeding and exhibition of poultry, pigeons, pheasants, canaries and cage birds. We became incorporated in 1990 and changed our name to the Feather Clubs Association of Queensland Inc. We are here to promote and foster the keeping, breeding and showing of exhibition, heritage and pure breeds of poultry, waterfowl, turkeys, pigeons and cage birds. Our members are poultry, pigeon and feather clubs including many specialist breed clubs within Queensland. |

The second edition of the Australian Poultry Standards has now started to be delivered to those who had pre-ordered.
The first edition of the Australian Poultry Standards was released in 1998.
Published by the Victorian Poultry Association, it is the official standard of perfection from which all poultry in Australia is judged from when exhibited at Poultry Shows.
The second edition is available for $90 plus $13 postage or a limited edition for $120 plus $13 postage.
It is a hard covered book with more than 300 pages and 168 full colour illustrations and breed descriptions.
